Had our first "pitch session" today with an indie producer who has matching funds. If I realized one thing it's that if you have the guts to tell someone you have a script and plan on making a film, they'll sit down and listen to you. I also realized that our pitching skills have a lot to be desired. My goal for the next month or two is to be able to answer, "Oh yeah, what's it about?" in a flowing and evocative manner.
