UFO BRO SIGHTINGS...

After studyin' hydrokinetic applications on Formula One racing machines with renowned French designer Marion Duchamp in Arignon,France, UFO took holiday on the Mediterranean island "Ios" off thecoast of Greece. After a brief sailing adventure in the Aegean Sea UFO returned to France where he would be re-united with the love of his life, American ballet talent Kristina Potts. Together they attended the famous 24 hours of LeMans, a grueling and exciting competition that takes a team of FI racers speeding into the night. While in LeMans, UFO and Kristina met Mackov Shonaslovic (picture above), the son of the Russian Ambassador to France. Mackov, who had just spent nearly a year touring from Geneva to Tel-Aviv with the London-Exeter Orchestra was himself on holiday and to see the race. The three had an outstanding time as UFO and Mackov became instant friends due to their mutual love for music. Together the two entertained crowds of listeners and race fans to impromptu "street concerts" featuring songs that UFO had been working on while sailing in Greece. Immediately inspired and growing tired of Europe, UFO and Kristina said good-bye to Shonaslovic and France to return to their home in California.
UFO quickly went to work relying heavily on the 200 acre botanic garden that lay in the Claremont foothills. For months UFO would walk the maze of trails in the garden secretly developing his compositions. Gathering focus and direction from the garden's simplicity, UFO can still be found lurking in the garden, day or night.
During post-production at Quantum Sound, a Kevin Caetans heard UFO rehearsing and immediately approached him with an offer to record an album. Soon UFO and Motion City Producer/ Composer, Marty Blasick, were teamed up in a studio for over a year creating what is now a truly timeless collection of songs entitled "Utah!"
Together Blasick and UFO have found a balance that uniquely displays UFO's sense of melody and garage-rock simplicity. The album features several musical applications such as trombones, synthesizers, string arrangements, xylophones, harmonica, electric bass and guitars played through vintage Gibson Amplification and finally classic rock percussion performed by Blasick, UFO and a transplanted Mackov who has come to America to rock.
